Nyko, not Nintendo, has announced the first Wii controller to have Motion Plus built in. It was expected that Nintendo was going to eventually release a remote that would incorporate Motion Plus, and they may still, but as for now Nyko has beat them to it.
Motion Plus is an add-on that improves the motion tracking ability of the Wii controller for a few games such as Wii Sports Resort, Tiger Woods Golf and the upcoming Red Steel 2.
The amount of games to make use of the peripheral has been somewhat disappointing since the product was released last spring. Hopefully, as the motion plus makes its way into more hands, that will change.
So far it appears to me the Motion Plus has been only a little more useful than WiiSpeak, the voice chat peripheral introduced over a year ago that has been little supported as well.
