It'll be no surprise that the Wii dominated the charts all year round at Amazon.com. The number one selling item in the Video Game department was the Wii system itself followed by Wii remotes, Motion Plus, The Nunchuck, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. In fact, the only non-Wii related item in the top ten is Call Of Duty: Moder Warfare 2 for the 360.

It's impressive that New Super Mario Bros. Wii came out about a week after Modern Warfare 2 and yet managed to outsell it, even though Modern Warfare clearly had more hype and publicity surrounding it.

Perhaps also worth noting is that WiiPlay is still number 12. Although it's obvious that people are only buying it because it comes with a remote, it still seems kind of sad that this awful game continues to dominate.
